Meet Liz Volpe

As one of Australia’s most prominent female entrepreneurs, it is easy to see why Liz Volpe is an unstoppable force not only in business but also in the ‘world change’ arena. As a serial entrepreneur and social enterprise founder, she has the unique ability to break down extraordinary visions, into tangible actions that inspire others to step into the realisation of their dreams.

Entrepreneurial thinking is in Liz’s DNA, and in 2001 she put this natural ability to the test when she moved to Australia as a backpacker before launching her own business in 2006, Zest Possibilities, which grew into a market leader in outsourced promotions, sales and marketing campaigns. Zest also provided her with a unique opportunity to activate purpose and to transition into the role of social entrepreneur. Alongside the Zest team, Liz has collectively raised $150 million for Australian and International charities.

In 2012, Liz co-founded the League of Extraordinary Women which has since become Australia’s fastest and largest growing movement of female entrepreneurs, named as No. 3 in the ‘Top 10 organisations encouraging female professionals in Australia’ by Business Review Australia.

Liz’s natural business savvy and success has seen her named as Number 13 on the Top 50 Australian Female Entrepreneurs under 40 list in 2014, invited to join the Board of StartUp Daily and Shoestring Media Group and to present by a number of high profile brands such as Microsoft, The Entourage, RMIT and G20 Young Entrepreneurs Summit.

By 2015, Liz visited Sunrise Cambodia, a not for profit dedicated to supporting disadvantaged children. As a result Project Gen Z was born. Project Gen Z is a collective of Australia’s leading entrepreneurs and CEOS who joined forces to roll out the ‘Dare to Dream’ entrepreneurial workshops targeted at young people in Australia and all over the world. So far Project Gen Z has inspired and educated over 200,000 youths and has raised over $650,000 for its work in Cambodia.
